Winter Wonder Land

Well, with most of the UK under a blanket of snow ,Honey has been in her element and really enjoying her self,and I may have done as well :)
So I thought you might like to see her playing with her doggy friends in the snow.....

Happy New Year 2013

Well here we are in 2013 .... Honey ,me and hubby wish you all a fab-u-lous 2013 :)
We haven`t traveled far from where we live to do our walks over the Christmas holidays,but as I have just taken on the Footpath Warden position we have enjoyed finding out and walking public footpaths and bridleways in our local area.
Today is no exception and we did a lovely walk from the centre of our village and headed north towards the Manchester Ship Canal.
The Manchester Ship Canal runs from Liverpool docks into Salford Quays which has recently become "Media City " and home to the BBC.It was built to carry goods from Manchester to the big docks of Liverpool and then across the world.We didn`t see any ships today but we may on future walks.

We came across a lovely quiet spot on our walk,you can sit and contemplate and watch the world go by in a lovely tree and bird filled environment, and remember loved ones xx

                            And after a fabulous afternoon we arrive home to be snug in front of the fire :)
